When a Pokemon is "boxed" in this world, they're usually just transferred to a different location. Most of the time it is some sort of Pokemon lab, a day care center, or the trainer's home or relative's place. There's also the instance of a Pokemon being allowed to "roam" as we saw in the instance of Stanley. I've mentioned this before, but since it's relevant again I figured I'd bring it up. Anyway, in Ranapo's case, it was decided that he'd go hang out with Will's folks.

Also, is Will going to get something off of her chest? We shall see...
