The Dire Wolf, also known as the "fearsome dog",
is an extinct species known to be the ancestor of the modern day gray wolves. 
It is also one of the most famous prehistoric carnivores that once lived alongside its mortal enemy,
the sabre-toothed cat, over 9,500 years ago. Besides being the largest wolf that ever existed, 
its teeth were made to sheer easily through flesh and came with a bite force known to be the strongest among its species.

The Great Horned Owl, also known as the "winged tiger" or "tiger of the air",
is a large owl native to the western world and is among the well-known birds of prey.

The Crimson Monarch was known for his regal yet fearsome appearance.
Having four large, powerful wings that carried him through the night as he waked,
he momentarily blocked the starlight as he soared. Being an aristocrat of culture,
he is full of knowledge learned through the years and easily loses interest with the common folk; 
however what fascinated him the most was the night sky which held mysterious entities other than the beautiful stars and constellations.
Given his nocturnal nature, he is often only awake at night to pursue further knowledge of the sky beyond.
