When you commission me, past or present, you agree with the terms down below.
Any term may only be changed with my permission, and it may only be discussed and temporary (one-time) exceptions may be made when clearly discussed with the customer before the commission.

1. GENERAL

Please be open and direct in your communication.
Provide clear references of what you want. This does not include text descriptions, short or long.
Any misbehavior (slandering, rudeness, hate speech, etc.) is not and will not be tolerated and the commission will be canceled.
Follow the rules stated in the commission journal, YCH or adoptable.
By making a commission for you, or selling a character design (adoptable) to you, I do not claim to be associated with you whatsoever and thus am not responsible for your misconduct in regards to my products, the products of others, and in general.
If you fail or refuse to follow the rules provided I have the right to decline your commission.

2. PAYMENT

All commissions must all be paid in full upfront.
The currency accepted is USD, paid through the services of PayPal.
The fee may be progressed at my end. Simply said, the given prices on the journal/post of the commissions, YCHs, or adoptables will usually be all. The extra fees coming from forces outside of my control (such as PayPal or any other services used) are not my responsibility. You, as the customer, should be mindful of these.

3. PROCESS

Work In Progresses (WIPs) will only be given to update the costumer, shown to friends and family (unless it's a private project), or semi-public places. The watermark must persist to be on there in order to remind the viewer(s) that it's my product and work. Abusing this, by altering the image or claiming it as your own will not be tolerated whatsoever.
WIPs might be given as well if I as the artist need to know something about the commission.

It may take an uncertain time of months for your commission(s) to be completed. The following blockades may include:
Family life, school life, mental health & physical health, moving, other customers & commissions, etc.

If any of the things stated above occurs, it will likely be displayed in public on my profile(s). Aside from that, if you're worried about your commission/YCH/adoptable you are always free to contact me for WIPs or life updates. Whilst you may not demand absolutely personal information, I'll do my best to let you know what's going on to the extent that I can.

4. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

I go above and beyond to make my customers happy.
However, after the commission is finished only small things may be changed (i.e.: coloring mistakes, marking mistakes). I will update you with full files of the updated versions.

Big changes will only be accepted depending on the changes, and come with an extra charge. Accepted changes are:
extra outfits, adding things into the background, adding things on the character (such as jewelry or pants), or anything else I'll personally consider minor upon notice.
Not accepted changes are:
Complete background changes, major outfit changes, changes that contradict your original wants which you expressed before the commission/YCH, or anything that makes me redraw it completely.
Charges will depend on what the changes are.

Make sure you are clear on what you want from me. If you gave me unclear or outdated references then I am not responsible for any missing satisfaction that may occur after the commission is done.

5. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY

I, the artist, hold every right to the drawing, not the commissioner. This includes all of the progressing, WIPs and the finished product.

Thereby I'm allowed to use the copyrighted artworks and any progress or WIP related to it to:
Promote myself at any place or site, in real life or digital.
Publish books with.
To display it anywhere to my liking.
Post it wherever I want, in real life or digital.

Aside from that, I have standard copyright rights as an artist to defend myself from misuse or slander of my property.
The commissioner is allowed to:
Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only unless agreed otherwise.
Print the art, and claim the right of their character(s) but not the drawing itself.
Use the art to promote themselves with proper credit given to the artist.

If you break the copyright infringement in any way, every right you had to the drawing will be retracted whether the fee has been paid or not.
The following is considered Copyright infringement:
Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially, thus making a profit off of my art.
Taking credit for the creation of the artwork.
Removing any watermarks/signatures.
altering the artwork without my, the artist's consent. (altering that goes beyond merely cropping the image.)

A Purchase of Commercial rights to the artwork will always be 500% of original price.
With commercial rights you are allowed to make any sort of merch with the artwork.
Use it in books, print outs, covers, as props, change it to your liking and promote your own brand with.
Credit is still required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited.

CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY

I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
You have no right whatsoever to demand a refund from the artist before, in the midst or after the commission is finished.
If money has not been sent yet the commissioner has the right to cancel the commission. This must be discussed and made clear beforehand (say, asking if I have started yet and how far I am, etc.)

If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers.
You will be blacklisted and may not buy from me again in any given moment of time.
Your name will be publicly posted everywhere I want to for others to watch out for and my private circles will be warned as well.
I also have every right to file a complaint and I have all the right to the money you have given me. I also have a right to tell the services we use about your misconduct.

Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission. However, this only pertains to exceptions. Do not commission me in any way if you do not agree to any of these statements.
