Hey everyone, I've told my peeps on smackjeeves about it, but I might as well tell you guys too.
So I started watching Demon Slayer, because the anime reviewers I trust (And have lied to me) were all up in a tizzy about it, so I thought "eh, why not? I've got nothing better to do."
In short: The show is visually gorgeous. As much as it uses CGI on walking and repetitive animations where the characters' faces aren't present, the times where it's good, it's good. The story is also pretty neat. a bit cut-n-dry copypasta, and I don't like how they dedicate so much time to showing how "undeserving and tragic" the MC's path is.
BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M HERE FOR!
The show gave me a really neat idea for a short comic I can do for Halloween! It won't be very long, 30 pages is my goal. I really want to do this and have already gone over the plot and some character designs. What I need from you guys is simple!
I want Demon designs!
They can be humanoid, animalistic, based on folklore or emotional states (like silent hill's monsters based on fear and paranoia. Feel free to get creative!) They don't have to be terrible complex, and it's alright if you can't draw! Just tell me what you think they should look like. And if you just want to submit a cameo of your own character or pet instead, go for it!
I can't guarantee I'll use every single one submitted, but don't let that stop you! I'll message the owner/creator of any I do, and I'll be sure let you know when to expect to see your OC show up.

Monster Project Update!
Hey guys! Just thought I'd give you a quick update on the Monster project I mentioned a few weeks back.
THUMBNAILS ARE FINISHED
Final page count: 38
That's going to be a challenge to get done before Halloween, but I've already made great progress! I've gotten all of the borders made in my sketchbook, so every one of them should be evenly spaced. This way, I have to do minimal editing when I get them scanned later.

I'm going to be going over it later with ink and brushes to give it a more "rough and aged" look, but since this comic is going to be in color, I was planning on making use of both my watercolours and

I've gotten everything taken care of over at my new place, but my roommate's gonna be in charge of getting us Internet (and since he's a gamer, that won't take too long) I'm sitting in my parent's house writing this because of it.
I really REALLY like my new place, and I'm super excited for this new chapter in my life.
I'll be posting an update similar to this on Mitigation for all of my readers that don't follow my DA, but for those that DO:
My goal is August!No idea exactly when in august, but I've made good progress, and organizing all my stuff at the new place isn't as heinous as I anticipated it being.

Just an Update for my Readers
Hey all, I know it's been a while on here; and even longer on Smackjeeves, so I just wanted to give y'all an update.
- Mitigation IS coming back. I've made good progress on it, but not enough to start posting again.
- I'm reworking my Eeveelutions, because my current designs are outdated and sad. I absolutely WILL be posting these once I've decided on them.
- Still Working out my Fakemon. As the original plan I had in mind won't work (at all. just trust me on this one) I'll have to figure out some other way to share Gen 4.1 Any suggestions are always welcome

I am Going to do Something Stupid
I'm going to do something very very stupid.
So, I know you all know this relatively new series on Netflix called Voltron
And You may not know this, but it's written by much of the same staff that wrote Korra
I do not like Korra. I tried watching it, I couldn't get through the second season. I physically cannot watch it by myself, I have to have someone there with me to suffer alongside me.
And I will be giving it another shot here in the future.
But for now:

Although it's true, it has some flaws here and there, but IMO Tanjiro is one of the best shonen protagonists I have seen in a while.
