Description

Roadie, The Combating Car
Real Name:
Roadster 39
Powers: Vehicle Physiology (Race Car); Vehicle Intuition; All-Terrain Mobility; Vehicular Combat; Despite looking like a real car, Roadie is able to bend and move in ways that more reminds people of a toon car, allowing the car to stand upright on it's back wheels, bend to look forward with his headlights and move his front wheels like they were arms with it's wheels able to grasp objects via a Telekinetic Grip.
Equipment: A wood box with a speaker on the front hanging from Roadie's "neck" that allows the car to communicate with others.
First Appearance: Deviantart (12/18/2019)

Origin
(---"
A 1900s era roadster that was taken from it's universe and into The Super-Sargasso Sea, where the energies in The Sea has granted the vintage vehicle a life of it's own as well as a few extra abilities like a more flexible anatomy.

This living vehicle can be usually found near Roquefort University where it participates in the school's Equestrian Club and races the students to test out their riding abilities that they acquired.

Currently, Roadie has developed an infatuation with Aberrant Men member, Princess Runabout. Possibly because of her actual identity as a old-timey vehicle herself."---)

A few months ago I found a image website called Pixabay, which has many pictures that can be used for whatever project you like to do with no strings attached and I've been collecting a lot of them for future use. So while Hero Machine doesn't have the old vehicles that I'm looking for, I was able to find them on Pixabay.

Now I wanted the car that this character was built on to be another version of Dana Backslide's Runabout for a bit of historical accuracy, but due to the continuity of how the original car works, I had to scrap that. That and this car didn't seem to have a trunk for Dana and her teammates to carry a lot of loot in. So I retooled the concept and make this version of The Runabout into it's own separate character.

A mix between a 1900s vehicle, Benny from Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Hornet from Fighters Megamix. Except unlike the latter, Roadie doesn't have Hornet's limitations when it comes to wheel-to-hand combat. That and I can see Roadie use the kind of items that you could get in a Kart Racing video game like Mario Kart, Crash Team Racing and Sonic All-Stars Transformed in a fighting game setting.

Roadie is an open source character created specifically for use by anyone. Feel free to use it any way you wish. You must also give creator credit.
