Lu always kept in mind her father's words when she was a child eager to learn difficult stunts. Trying to keep patience and determination above all, but sadly, she's inpatient sometimes. It's not something that Lu can easily control, she likes to see fast results.

She likes to have fun and be on constant moving. Better if she does it accompanied.
Thanks to this, Lu is good for jobs that require energy, but she's a horror for paperwork.

All she wants is not to think too much about this in her new life.
Lu has a hard time facing serious problems with people that she appreciates when she thinks about the possible outcome. This always goes with the fear that the other doesn't get to understand what she wants to express.
She avoids these types of situations as much as she can until she find a way to deal with the problem in a way both parties win.  

The Long family was made up of artists of varieties who had acted for generations in the presence of nobles and lived with them in their domains. 
They were respected for their exceptional spectacles that left whoever looked at them with their mouth open. Lǜ sōngshí was the youngest of three siblings and the youngest in the current generation of the family.

She had a really happy childhood. Lu for sure loved the way she lived! She never doubted her position in there. 

Since she was a child,  she knew that her place was on the heights of a huge stage. She began to learn early to walk on the tightrope or to contort as if she doesn't have bones.
Lu was fortunate to live apart from the concerns of the poor people, surrounded by luxuries and with the favor of the rich as well as her parents and siblings. But there was something that always caught her attention: They never gave performances to the village people.
Whenever she asked about this, her family only told to her that it always was that way: Those who had to entertain were the ones who could pay them better for their services, and obviously, these ones were the nobles. 
At that time she didn't discuss much this, after all, it had always been normal to favor them. Who would deny a performance to an emperor? But naively she thought life outside the palace was similar, just only simpler.

Even when she thought her doubt was solved, there was something in all that still made her curious about the town. It wasn't until she had fourteen that she has the courage to disguise himself to slip away and go to visit the town that was closest to the palace.
At first, everything was fine; Beautiful vegetation, a road well maintained ... But as she approached the town more details began to seem off; the few animals she saw were all malnourished. And the people? The few she can saw were wearing dirty clothes and gnaws. They were almost as malnourished as the animals they take care of.
They even stole one of her bracelets without her noticing.
Little by little, she began to realize that her whole idea about the town... Was all wrong.

All these people were starving and sick, they needed the emperor's help but the emperor never listen to them. 
Lu runs through the streets with the hope of seeing something that would restore the image of the rich village she had before. In vain.

Confused and without knowing what to do. She ran back to her family to lock himself in her room in the necessity of peace to clear her thoughts.

It wasn't fair.

It was nothing fair for the emperor to turn a deaf ear to his people.
Lu tried to talk to her family about it but none wanted to listen. "It was just the normal" "This is how it has always been". 
For the first time, "Being the normal" for her had not been a valid response.
After this, Lu began to sneak back into the town, but not empty-handed: Little by little, during these years, she always carried with her some food or one of her belongings to give it to others. Never too much to be noticed but enough to ensure food for a family. 

But obviously, she wouldn't be here if she had a happy ending worthy of a fantastic story.

At her seventeens, the emperor began to suspect that someone was taking objects out of the palace when they noticed how the people they had ignored so long now seemed to prosper.
The emperor, for not alert anyone and make the suspect ran away, make more guards guarding the palace. Sneaking like how she did before would no longer be possible. What could she do? 
Lu had devised a plan: She would sleep the guards.
It would be something that would make them sleep for a few hours, but it was enough to leave and return before the effect passed, making that be as if they had only been drinking too much on their breaks.
Lu made sure she had researched enough to find something that would just make them sleep.
But the night she launched her plan... Was her end: The drink that should make them sleep ended their lives at the time they drank it.
Lu was in a panic. She had made sure that all that they have in their drinks would leave them unconscious. She was really sure...

She couldn't even check the glasses when her family showed up to find the scene.
None of them moved a finger when the emperor put on her all the weight of the law for the murder of the guards and the discovery of her being the thief all these years.
Even when she begged, she cried and assured that she would never kill someone like that, they didn't listen: She was executed and leave behind as the stain and shame of the Long family's honor.

She just wanted another chance. Something to prove her innocence about everything to be able to change the things. To act in a better way.

A second chance to start over.
