USS Aries Coffee Lounge

Description

One of the things Captain Avril Galven insisted on having on the ship, was a proper coffee dispenser. What she got was a top of the line replicator that could have any type of coffee or coffeehouse style the end user wanted.  She decided to drop it in the main lounge on board the Aries so that the crew could partake in her joy as well, giving this room the moniker "Coffee Lounge" by the crew. With several comfy chairs, a nice couch, a variety of games, PADDs with all the current literature from every species aboard, as well as a nice selection of actual paper books, the "Coffee Lounge" became a favorite off-duty spot. Especially if you wanted to get a glimpse of the Captain out of uniform. A rarity indeed.

Probably the most dramatic transformation of the Breifing Room set, the softer colors of the beams, the lighting and the complimentary furniture really make this feel different. I like it. ;)  I do need to figure out why the bookshelves reverted to a previous low-poly version on the move from my 3D modeling program to DAZ, but well, good enough for now.

Add some baked goods such as brownies, cupcakes and pastries and it could be an old 'Joe Muggs'.  I know not everyone remembers or even knew about Joe Muggs.  We had them here in Florida for years where you could go and get something to eat and coffee, tea, etc while browsing books.  One of the larger books stores (Books-a-million) had a Joe Muggs inside the book store.  They aren't in business anymore and some thought it was because kids would go into the store, get food and get all the books messed up with dirty fingerprints.  Few wanted to buy a new book with food smeared all over it.  It was a shame.  Parents (some) just don't care to discipline their kids.  Joe Muggs used to have Blondies.  Like a Brownie but it was golden in color and had brown sugar in it instead of regular processed sugar.
