33M~ What brought you here to Deviant Art ?

Selina~ I found dA by chance.
My husband is an IT engineer and spends a lot of time on the Internet
and in fact he is the one who discovered this site and seeing what it promotes
and knowing my passion for art advised me to open my account.
After studying the site, I realized that it was a place where you can find a lot of quality art
and I was delighted.
Since then, I am here almost every day in this big family that is dA.


33M~Did you always have an interest in nature photography
and when did you start photographing your beautiful work ?

Selina~About my interest in photography, I think I have to tell you a funny story.
When I was little my grandparents gave me a large bag of family photos
and when they were busy, I had fun looking at them and arranging them.
I never tore or mishandled any of the photos
and often fell asleep under the table with them in my arms.
When I turned 18 my grandfather gave me a gift of a very beautiful album
and then I placed all the photos in that album, which is now my family album.
Some of those family photos are present in my gallery here in dA.
So the answer is, yes, I love photography ever since I can remember.
I started to make my own photos later, but here in dA I perfected this passion.


33M~Which one of your photographs is your very favorite, and I know
that is a hard question, but if you have one, why is it your fav
and how did you capture it?

Selina~Indeed this is a very difficult question.
For those who know me it is no secret that I love very much flowers and nature.
I love flowers because they have a distinct language of their own.
I think my favorite is this picture
This photo has a special history and reminds me about a time in my life
when I discovered many wonderful things.
This photo was taken ​​in Holland's famous Keukenhof park,
a park which is unique in the whole world for it's beauty and
variety of tulips that it contains.
The picture is taken ​​with an old manual Sony camera,
without any extra photo effects and this is why I believe that is beautiful.


33M~You are a very popular artist here at DA, is there a special way you
manage your time between online and offline activities, and what
are your hobbies if you cannot be photographing nature?

Selina~Thank you very much for your kind words and I have to say I'm honored.

I must admit that I became a little bit dependent on dA and sometimes
I find it hard to share my time between daily duties and dA, but
hopefully still manage to reconcile them all.
I believe that when you have a real passion,
you have to be able to find the time needed to follow it.
Here it is not just about passion itself, but also about the wonderful people
we come into contact and you can not disappoint them.

Besides photography, I love traveling
I saw many countries in Europe such as Holland, Belgium, Germany and           
France, but my dream is to visit Italy.

I have moments when I feel the need to express my feelings and emotions in writing
and I love music very much.

Also I have in my house I have many wonderful flowers that need care and affection.


33M~What do you see yourself doing in the next few years in photography
and your artwork?

Selina~I do not foresee many changes in years to come,
but I do hope I can improve and learn many things in photography.
It is not easy, and is an area that there is always something new and you always have to learn.
I really want, in time, to have my flowers look like paintings.
And in the mean time I would like to have time to be able to pay more attention to literature and writing.


33M~DA is constantly changing and it is such a huge site with so many active
members, how do you stay visible and and engaged with the DA community?

Selina:I think dA is a wonderful place where people really try to give all the best they have in them.
Being an art site it is normal to be in constant change
but it is also a great big family and of course like any family, each has its place.
I believe that to be seen and noted, you must be capable of giving, beyond the art you create.
Be generous, kind, understanding and share your knowledge to the newcomers,
to help them and to promote quality art.

There are many groups in  dA that specialize in and promote talent.
I think it's great to be able to attract the attention of a community over a new talent
and new artist who has emerged and I do it every time when something beautiful catches my eye.  
Also I think is very important to feature other artists work and to promote new contests
and I'm doing this all the time, because true art means variety and generosity.

33M~Is there anything you would like to say to new artists here at DA to give them
incentive and support during the first few months of their new memberships?

Selina~I will say only few words.
Dear artists do not forget that ideas are out of reach of many, but what is truly sublime in art
are feelings and art doesn't exist without inner light and it has no inner light without respect and love.

Between Past and Future                  My little darling,
Yesterday I saw you in the mirror!
You were so angry that you're not growing-up faster, that you are so dependent on your family, that you don't know how love blossoms.
You were playing with sad words, trying to write a poem, to tell the world who you are and what you feel.
For a moment, I was tempted to smile, but suddenly I've realized how much I miss you and how much I want to be possible to meet you, even for a second,  in the time carousel.
There are so many things I want to tell you!
I want you to know, that it was a day when I've dreamed that I see in my eyes the smile of that child who I was once.
In a twinkling of an eye, vanished in my grandfather's photo.
One minute later, I grow-up...
It was a day, when I've dreamed that I see in my eyes that beautiful teenager, full of joy and happiness, who I was once.

Threads of SandI look around me dressed in your dream's clothes.
Petrify I admire their color -a deep, deep brown.
Like in a wonderful waltz, trembling threads of sand from my hour glass heart and Sol clef, invite me to dance.
Two rebellious tears, dash into a corner of a whisper and thought fly easily touching the pollen of a lady without regrets.
Am I dreaming!
A star is extinguished in her immortality and all my life is caught in a trail of a
comet.
Did I fall!
Hypnotized, I try to understand the secret words trap into a coffee grounds.
We drink this coffee in one morning from another life!
Who am I?
If your answer is a smile, there's no answer at all!
Where am I?
Dazed, an ultimate thread of sand, tell me:
- Where the walls love you. TomorrowTomorrow I prepare to go out of your life.
I'm looking deep into your bright and dark iris and I see the page of unfinished story. I wonder if tomorrow is a day, or just a conspiracy of the universe?
My smile it's so telluric and my heart catch roots in a tomorrow which is abandoned in the arms of eternity.
-I love you...
Unequal whispers, or just an old cliche in the footsteps of a tango dance, so famous that it never try to keep in mind it's name?
Echoing, pain and flowers.
-Everything goes...
Reality, or merely a phantom atypical of a time stuck in a color of forgetfulness?
Questions and devotion, silence and obsolescence.
-Tomorrow is your birthday...
Tomorrow is a day just like any other days!
Four seasons, game, shyness and much dust.
